Ecuador has a huge selection of active and dormant volcanoes from one day easy treks to extreme multi day expeditions. Being high in the Andes has a really special feeling that has be to experienced. Ecuador is one of the few places in the world it is possible to reach more then 5000m without years of climbing experience. Join us for the thrill of being high in the Andes. Quito is surrounded by many high Andean peaks many of these make great day hikes or they can be combined with acclimatization hikes if you have future plans to climb Ecuador’s high volcanoes. In just one day it is possible to summit huge volcanoes including; Guagua Pichincha, Pasochoa, El Corazon, Illinitzas Nortre, Atacazo.
Below is a basic one day itinerary, however we can arrange multi day treks and expeditions. In recognition that everyone is different, our multi day treks are designed to complement your experience and requirements and in doing this we have found that this gives our clients greater flexibility and greater success in reaching the high summits. Mode of Transport:
We will be traveling in a fully expedition equipped Toyota Land Cruiser 4×4. The Land Cruiser is safe, modern and comfortable and has legendary off road capabilities. On board we carry a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, maps and emergency recovery tools. The vehicle will be driven by a UK trained and licensed truck/coach driver with many years of experience driving expeditions throughout Latin America. No more scary bus rides, you are safe in our hands.
