The Darwin yacht offers particularly attractive value for money – something of a rarity at Galapagos which is always an expensive destination! Past reviews detail a high level of service so this is definitely a recommended Galapagos cruise option. The Darwin runs the standard north and south Galapagos itinerary.

“We had a great time aboard the Darwin. The yacht was quite luxurious, the meals were great and the staff really friendly. This Galapagos cruise was definately one of the highlights of our year of travel!” (Niamh, Karen and Orla, Ireland)

“I would thoroughly recommend the Darwin yacht to anyone. You couldn’t really ask for anything more – it was clean and comfortable. The highlight though was the food – the chef was fantastic!” (Chris, UK)

“Everyone on the Darwin yacht (guide, captain, crew) aimed to please. If you can do the 8-day rather than 4 or 5 days then do it – it’s worth paying the extra!” (Randy & family, USA)

“The Darwin was lovely, and the crew were all extremely professional, friendly and well-organised. It was the most enjoyable 8 days and I can find no fault in the trip whatsoever!” (Sue Fisher, UK)

“The trip was fantastic. I can’t fault the guide or the crew, and the other passengers that went on the cruise were great fun as well. As you mentioned, it was a fairly young crowd, which is quite different from a lot of the other cruise ships that I saw. The accommodation itself wasn’t luxurious, but it was clean and perfectly fine for this sort of cruise, as the main attractions are definitely elsewhere! The showers had hot water and the food was good (and there was plenty of it).” (Matthew Morrison)

We had an amazing time. The boat and staff were great, guide was fantastic, and we were well catered for as vegetarians. We had a cabin at the top of the boat which was great. All in all, it was a good choice for us.” (Amanda Davies)

The 15-day Galapagos cruise itinerary is the combination of both Discovery and Adventure 8-day itineraries.

Please consult with our staff as to which Galapagos itinerary is running for your dates of travel.

Important note about Galapagos itineraries: On day1 there is only time for an afternoon visit to be included; and on the final day only a brief morning visit. The reason for this is to connect with the Galapagos flight arrivals and departures at the airport. All Galapagos yachts follow this schedule, not only the Darwin.
