Important Note: The Golondrina cruise obligates Happy Gringo to buy Galapagos flight tickets directly through them; failure to do so will unfortunately result in a penalty fee being charged to you by the yacht operator.

Important Note: We are more than happy to request the cabin of your choice at time of booking – just let us know. But please be aware that but the final decision on cabin allocation is always in the hands of the yacht operator so Happy Gringo cannot be held responsible if the operator decides to allocate you to an alternative cabin.

“Great cruise – definately worth doing the 8days as I saw so much more! It goes without saying that the Galapagos Islands themselves were totally worth it!” (Evelyn, Canada)

“Thoroughly enjoyable tour and excellent value too.” (Ralf, Switzerland)

“The yacht, rooms, food and staff were all great! I would recommend against doing 5day itinerary “H” though because the first night in the hotel takes time away from the tour and is a raw deal.” (Carrie, USA)

“Our 8day Galapagos cruise on the Golondrina was fantastic. The yacht was lovely with good facilities and with 14 people aboard it was the perfect size group to get to know our fellow passengers.” (Emma Fawcett)

“The accommodation, guide, activities, menu and whole experience was awesome, no complaints, only praise! Everything was smooth and fun. Thank you thank you for a memorable trip.” (Eugenia Rogers)

We loved the cruise and the Golondrina yacht. The staff, food and itinerary were great. We loved the amount of snorkeling and being able to see so many islands. The boat was a good size, although the cabins are small we didn’t much spend time in our rooms anyway. My only complaint would be that the beds should have railings on them to protect you from falling on rocky seas.” (Kathy Koepke)

FRI Baltra, Mosquera
SAT Isabela: Punta Vicente Roca, Fernandina: Punta Espinosa
SUN Isabela: Urbina Bay, Tagus Cove
MON Santiago: Puerto Egas, Chinese Hat
TUE Santa Cruz: Charles Darwin Station, Highlands
WED Isabela: Tintoreras, wall of tears, tortoise breeding centre
THU Rabida, Santa cruz: Cerro Dragon
FRI Black Turtle Cove, Baltra

The 8day itinerary also runs starting on Mondays and Tuesdays with the same itinerary as above.

Important note about Galapagos itineraries: On day1 there is only time for an afternoon visit to be included; and on the final day only a brief morning visit. The reason for this is to connect with the Galapagos flight arrivals and departures at the airport. All Galapagos yachts follow this schedule, not only the Golondrina.
